Creation, development and production of original IP
Founded in 2016, Milkcow Media is a privately owned, independent content creation, rights ownership, production and international distribution company based in Toronto, Canada.
Milkcow's mission is to create, develop, produce and exploit original and engaging content across each of the preschool', 'family and kids', 'tweens', 'young adult', 'four quadrant' and 'primetime' segments across multiple platforms at both a local and global level.
Alexander Bar, founder and Emmy Award-winning creative force behind Milkcow, has been helping to create cherished memories and fun experiences for kids and families for more than 20 years. With a proven track record, Alexander is the creator of more than seven global preschool properties that have generated multiple TV series, global toy lines and extensive merchandise and publishing programs.
That’s why Alexander is now recognised as one of the most experienced and prolific creators of preschool franchises in the world today.
To reflect the company’s core values of creativity, diversity and inclusivity, Milkcow continually seeks to provide opportunities for all, including authentic representation of disability and BIPOC voices to be heard and involved both on and off screen in the stories we tell.
